How does diamond drilling and concrete cutting work?
Diamond concrete cutting and drilling uses diamond tipped drill bits and blades to cut through concrete and steel reinforced concrete and masonry .
In diamond core cutting, a diamond drill bit is attached to a rotary drill for diamond cutting precise diameter holes. This method of diamond concrete cutting can be used for concrete cutting requirements in plumbing, electrical, drainage, manholes, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and structural testing. In diamond drilling water is fed through the shaft of the diamond drill bit which will minimise any dust being created during the concrete drilling process. Diamond drilling can be done with handheld or rig mounted diamond drills dependant on the size and nature of the core cutting required.
Diamond track and wall sawing is a concrete cutting technique used to cut concrete to form exact dimension door, window, vent openings in any section of a concrete structure. Track sawing is method which can be reliably used in cutting concrete more accurately than traditional sawing methods. The diamond cutting blades are mounted on a track and operated remotely.
Concrete floor sawing is done using a mobile self-propelled floor saw, ideally suited to cutting horizontal surfaces such as concrete floors and tarmac.

Hydraulic bursting is a method of removing mass concrete, stone and brickwork by expanding pre-drilled holes in order to crack the structure in a controlled way. Hydraulic busting can be used in confined spaces and can be a quieter method of removing concrete.
Wall and floor chasing is used in cutting concrete to a desired depth and width and is ideal for installing electrical works in reinforced concrete, brick or block work.
